About Us
I adopted a 2 year old greyhound in November 2007, and after reading about the playgroup called Funhound in Somerset (which is no longer going), I was keen to set up something similar locally. The first session took place on Monday 18th February, and the aim is to run a regular session each week.
The playgroup is purely for dogs to run and play together - there is no training or advice.
The cost is £5 per dog and £1 for every additional dog. The playgroup is not-for-profit, so this is purely to cover the costs of insurance and hiring the venue. If enough people attend on a regular basis and there is money left over then it will be donated to a greyhound rescue organisation.
